PuroClean Property Restoration of North Simcoe & Muskoka has an immediate full-time, permanent opening for Emergency Restoration Technician based in their Gravenhurst Office. Work involves cleaning after water/fire/mould damage in homes and commercial buildings and subsequently restoring the buildings to their pre-loss state.

PuroClean Property Paramedics provide 24-Hour emergency services and cleaning to people who have suffered water, fire and mould loss to their homes and businesses. We have the pleasure of working in Ontario’s Cottage country and get to experience many unique restoration and building challenges.

> Basic-level computer literacy;
> Effective verbal and written communication skills;
> Good interpersonal skills and great sensitivity to customers’ difficult situations;

> Legally eligible to work in Canada;
> Valid and clean driver’s license;
> Clean criminal record;
> Must pass entrance and periodic drug screening, background checks and driving record checks;
> To be available and respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year as required and/or scheduled;
> Consistently maintain high levels of excellent customer satisfaction
> Maintain all required PuroClean and IICRC Certifications.
> Reasonable level of physical fitness with no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and/or conditions of the work environments customary for this type of work. This is a physically demanding industry. You must be capable of moving furniture and other household contents as well as required equipment;
> Must be able to work in confined spaces (crawlspaces and attics);
> Able to work for extended periods of time in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
> Must be able to work in all types of conditions (hot, cold, wet and dusty)
> Updated immunizations/vaccinations, especially Hepatitis A & B and tetanus.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED, with emphasis on language comprehension and math computation preferred; IICRC Certifications such as: WRT/ASD; FSRT; AMRT; CDS would be beneficial
Compensation: $16 TO $22/Hr – Compensation will be appropriate to experience.
