Emergency Restoration Technician

PuroClean Property Paramedics of Lethbridge, has an immediate full-time/permanent opening for Emergency Restoration Technician. Work involves cleaning after water/fire/mold damage in homes and commercial buildings.

PuroClean Property Paramedics provide 24-Hour emergency services and cleaning to people who have suffered water, fire and mold loss to their homes and businesses.

Requirements:

Mandatory

Legally eligible to work in Canada;

Valid and clean driver’s license;

Clean criminal record;

Must pass entrance and periodic drug screening, background checks and driving record checks;

To be available and respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year as required and/or scheduled;

Consistently maintain high levels of excellent customer satisfaction as exhibited by PACE, Excellent Service Endorsements, other customer surveys and comments and feedback;

Maintain all required PuroClean and IICRC Certifications.

Physical

Reasonable level of physical fitness with no health issues that would interfere with the physical demands and/or conditions of the work environments customary for this type of work. This is a physically demanding industry. You must be capable of moving furniture and other household contents as well as required equipment;

Must be able to work in confined spaces (crawlspaces and attics);

Able to work for extended periods of time in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). NOTE: Non-smokers, those with limited/no facial hair and/or no facial jewelry/piercings are preferred due to restrictions and precautions while wearing full-face respirators;

Updated immunizations/vaccinations, especially Hepatitis A & B and tetanus.

General

High school diploma or GED, with emphasis on language comprehension and math computation;

Basic-level computer literacy;

Mature, reliable and punctual;

Effective verbal and written communication skills;

Good interpersonal skills and great sensitivity to customers’ difficult situations;

Good problem solving, decision making and analytical skills;

Superior organizational skills;

Hardworking, trainable and work well in a team-oriented setting;

Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively;

A highly professional image;

Previous experience in the restoration industry, repair and maintenance or construction is an asset;

Ability to work some overtime and on-call hours (nights and weekends), due to us providing 24 hour emergency service.

Compensation: Negotiable, depending on experience
